The Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic Bridge over the Drina river. It is a historic bridge completed in 1577 by the Ottoman court architect Mimar Sinan. The UNESCO included the bridge in its 2007 World Heritage List. During the Bosnian war it was the site of massacres of Bosniaks by the Bosnian serb militias.
